Tiflis wine cellar

The plant Tiflis wine cellar was founded in 1995 near Tbilisi, not far from fertility region of Kakheti and now is one the biggest plant in Georgia.

The famous Georgian winemaker Nikolai Mechuzla was on the starts of plant foundation. He’s a professor, corresponding member of Agrar Academy of science in Georgia, academic of international Academy of grapes and wine, author more than 130 science articles, brochures and books. His experience and weighted combination of uses traditional methods of grape-growing and harvesting with uses modern technology and high-quality Italian, French and Germany equipment give possibility to create high level wine saving terroirs and historical specialties of Georgian wine.

Tiflis wine cellar is the full-cycle wine producing plant – from preparing and pre-fermentation of grape, getting and saving wine-materials till bottling and delivering goods.

During producing process there are used to use crasher rolls, pulp-pumps, crushing stainless steel reservoir, vacuum filter drum, precoat filter, cooling arrangement for pulp and wort.

Modern press with delicate juice pressing without mechanical impact on seeds make possible to get high quality wine materials.

Because of using macerators all wines have high organoleptic marks, optimal expose and save original and sorted bouquet in its taste and gives unforgettable unique and fresh aroma.

Wines of “Tifliski vinni pogreb” plant were highly appreciated by Hugh Johnson – the most authority world expert, author of such famous books like: "Hugh Johnson's Pocket Wine Book", “The World Atlas of Wine" , "The Story of Wine" and others.

The plant is constantly expanded the number of countries where the products deliver to. In addition of traditional markets such like Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Baltic countries, Post-Soviet Countries Company also delivers its products to Israel, Germany, USA, Canada and China.
